About Gates of Olympus Guide
Gates of Olympus Guide is an independent website about one slot series: Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus. We test every game ourselves, take the numbers from the games' own rules and say clearly where sources disagree.
Who we are
We're a small editorial team that writes about casino games. We aren't owned by Pragmatic Play or by any casino, and we don't offer gambling or take bets. Some links on the site can earn us a commission: see how we make money.
How we test
- We play every game. Each review starts in Pragmatic Play's official demo. We play the base game on desktop and in a phone-sized window, and we buy a free spins round where the game sells one, or play until it triggers where it doesn't.
- We read the rules screen. RTP, volatility, max win, multiplier values, bet limits and buy prices come from the game's own rules pages, which we photograph and show on the site.
- We cross-check and flag gaps. Release dates come from Pragmatic Play's announcements. Where the game and another official source disagree, as with POP's RTP and jackpot names, we show both and explain which one we follow.
- We take our own screenshots. Every game image on this site was captured by us in the official demos. Symbol icons are cut from the games' rules screens.
- We date everything. Every page shows when it was last updated. For this edition we played all six games on .
How we score
Each game's score is the average of five ratings out of 10:
- Gameplay
- How engaging the core mechanic is, spin after spin.
- Features
- The bonus round, multipliers, buys and bet options.
- RTP and maths
- RTP, volatility and max win, and how they fit together.
- Availability
- How easy the game is to find at licensed casinos.
- Clarity of rules
- How complete and consistent the official information is.
Scores compare games within the series. They are opinions, not predictions of what you'll win.
How we make money
Gates of Olympus Guide is free to read. Links to casinos on this site, including the Play buttons, can be affiliate links: if you sign up through one, the casino may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
Commissions don't change our facts or our scores. The figures come from the games' rules and our tests, and every game is scored the same way.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, please tell us. We check every report against the game itself and update the page and its date.
