Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit Gates of Olympus Guide, why, and what choices you have.
In short
- We don't have user accounts, sign-up forms or newsletters.
- We use Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica, loaded through Google Tag Manager. They set cookies to count visits and see how the site is used.
- Our host, Cloudflare, receives standard technical data when your browser loads the site.
- Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- Links to casinos can be affiliate links, which may earn us a commission.
- A casino's own privacy policy applies once you follow a link to its site.
Data we collect
We don't ask you for personal data. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser, and nothing you type into them is sent to us.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we delete it once the conversation is finished unless the law requires us to keep it.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare's network. Like almost every host, Cloudflare processes technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site, protect it from attacks and fix errors, not to identify you. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that processing.
Fonts
Our fonts, Cinzel and Inter, are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google's privacy policy applies to that processing.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Tag Manager, a Google service that loads our measurement tools: Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica. These tools set cookies and collect information about your visit: the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click and how you move around a page (Yandex Metrica's Webvisor can replay mouse movements, clicks and scrolling, but not what you type into fields), your approximate location, your device and browser, and the site that sent you here. Google and Yandex process this data on our behalf, and we use it only in aggregate to understand which content is useful. Google may process it in the United States and Yandex in Russia, outside the EU and the UK.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and the Yandex Metrica opt-out. The site works fully without them. Google's and Yandex's privacy policies apply to their processing.
Outbound links
When you click a link to a casino or another site, you leave Gates of Olympus Guide. Casino links first pass through a short redirect on our own domain (/go/). They can be affiliate links: if you sign up through one, the casino may tell us that a referral took place and share figures about the players we referred so it can work out our commission. We don't receive your name, email address or login details. The other site's privacy policy applies from the moment you arrive there.
Age
This site is meant for adults only. We don't knowingly process data from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to how it's used. Contact us and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we add new tools, cookies or forms, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
